Kerry "Fire Rumsfeld"

I got another letter from John Kerry. "I knew our soldiers were still facing hold ups getting the equipment they need, but I wanted to see it for myself. American troops deserve the best gear and equipment we can provide. But adequate vehicle armor remains in short supply.

A soldier who spoke up about these problems was told by Defense Secretary Rumsfeld, "you have to go to war with the army you have, not the army you want."1 Well, it's been over two years since Rumsfeld planned this war. And whether he has the army he wants or not, he should at least have basic armor for army vehicles."

Not only was the Rumsfeld statement lifted out of the middle of a lengthy explanation
Rumsfeld gave in response to the question raised about up armoring vehicles but this is the man who voted against thd $87 billion after voting for it. I forgot how long it has been since that statement was made but Kerry's visit to Iraq evidently didn't give him any other quotes from the military he could drag out to smear President Bush and Sec. Rumsfeld. He is calling all of his "supporters" to sign a petition to fire
Sec. Rumsfeld.
