Today My Sister Turns 27

Happy Birthday Tootsie.

May your family surround you and make your day really special. If I were there, or you were here, I would bake you a cake and place in on the cake plate Mother used for all our cakes. But since your not here, and I"m not there, I won't bother.

I just wanted you to know that I do think about you and remember our arguments as kids and the imaginary line down the middle of our double bed. Remember Dad shucking peanuts from our Christmas stockings because we had not yet mastered it? Remember walking to Lake Minnetonka so we could go swimming. You teased me so much cuz I got tan and you didn't. Remember calling me circle face cuz the bathing cap kept that tan from being even? Remember the lack of indoor plumbing in Deephaven, the frost inside the picture window in Hopkins before we moved upstairs? It's your turn to wash dishes--no it's not! Motheeerrr!

Miracles happen and we grew up and became friends. Now, I just want to say, you are loved and I hope you have a very good year ahead since 37 will come soon enough!

Peace, Pat

  2. Happy Birthday Tootsie! May God bless you throughout your life. Pat, I have 2 younger sisters, and I remember them always saying, "Mommmiiiieeee!" I was always wrong, no matter what because I was older! I was supposed to know better. Better than what, dare I ask?! LOL God bless you.
